The Farmington team is comprised of partners that offer complementary skills and experience in insurance private equity investing and operations management of underwriting and insurance distribution companies. In addition, we focus our investment banking services to emerging and midsized companies in property, casualty, risk management, life, employee benefits and health.
Our highly credentialed professionals are respected insurance and financial services veterans. As a result of our extensive knowledge and relationships, we are capable, value-added partners to management teams of high-growth and innovative companies in the insurance marketplace seeking capital or strategic partners.
John Clinton
Managing Partner
In addition to serving as managing partner of CCP Equity Partners for 17 years, he was also a general partner of Concord Partners (Dillon Read) and Kramer Capital Partners. He has served on the board of over 25 private equity backed insurance portfolio companies.
Scott Cantini
Partner
Mr. Cantini has over 25 years of corporate advisory, investment and senior management experience. Companies that he has been involved in since he joined FCP include Specialty MGA/MGU’s and InsurTech companies: Stere, Elseco, SportInsurance, CAIS/MGA Live, Monument, Highpoint, Cyber Risk Partners, Insurance For Children, Shoff Darby.
Scott has an extensive investment banking, private equity and senior operations background. Scott was a senior banker at Credit Suisse First Boston, SC Cowen, Smith Barney, Bear Stearns and Morgan Joseph. In addition, he has been CEO/CFO of three technology enabled MGA/MGUs. He has completed over 65 transactions for public and private companies.
